there’s both to chin, I think. Some is a pure attribute — some guys just don’t get concussed easily, can ignore more pain. Some is talent — riding shots, not panicking when hit or hurt, not having the wrong reactions when hit or hurt, etc. Hrgovic is clearly top tier ATG level at both when it comes to chin.

Mind you, I think Ituama showed a plenty solid chin and the heart of an absolute lion. He couldn’t even stand but was still launching bombs.

he lost due to inexperience, impatience, lack of emotional control, and possibly a lack of enough cardio (then again, he did spend 8 rounds fighting like a man 100lbs less than he is, so maybe his cardio is fine if he’d pace himself).

Strongly disagree. And I think most professional boxers would too.

Yes. Some people think flashiness is the only talent one needs.

Hrgovic is a much fuller fighter. Does his defense wow you? No. But his counter body shot was A+ and massively overlooked. His ability to impose himself is skillful

The better fighter on the night? Sure. More talented? Absolutely not.

You're delusional LMAO... in a rematch ituama won't punch himself out also Filip hrgovic was barely hitting ituama. Filip got dominated for 8 rounds and ituama lack of experience cost him The fight let's not act like filip hrgovic did anything special LMAO.... Filip hrgovic has way more experience than ituama and that was the difference.. in terms of talent hrgovic isn't even close to itauma

Spot on. I said similar to someone else. Hrgovic was displaying world class ability as a teenager. He's not some chump who tumbled into a world title. He's been towards the top of the heap at every level of boxing he's competed in. Amateur, semi pro, pro. in the pros he had promotional issues and trouble getting fights for quite some time. We can go circles debating what talent is, who's more talented or what not, but Hrgovics talent has constantly been undersold. There's a reason he was considered a bluechip prospect among many of the more astute followers of the HW division.

Lie LMAO.... Filip hrgovic has the best chin in the division but if chin equals talent then Wlademir Klitschko is not more talented than corrie sanders LMAO.. corrie sanders destroyed prime Wlademir Klitschko and Wlademir ducked the rematch and had to get his brother.

Filip hrgovic is the same guy who lost to Dubois, can argue he also lost to Zhilei Zhang also struggled against a washed up Jo Joyce and fought a green heavyweight that only had 31 rounds of experience at the pro level and he was getting beat from pillar to post until experience kicked in... experience is the biggest reason filip hrgovic beat Itauma.. hrgovic was barely hitting touching Itauma in the first 8 Rounds LMAO.... ituama is Significantly more talented than Filip hrgovic just cause he beat a green moses doesn't make him more talented or else corrie sanders is more talented than Wlademir since he destroyed Wlademir and Wlademir unlike ituama had A lot of experience LMAO.... you filip hrgovic fan boys are beyond delusional LMAO.... Filip hrgovic has the Best Chin and durability in the heavyweight Division but everything else he does is Average....having the best chin and durability doesn't make you the most talented or else Oliver McCall is way more talented than Wlademir Klitschko since he's significantly more durable and has a way better Chin...

Except he didn’t even drop Itauma, Moses fell over gassed.

Have people legitimately not watched the fight since it was on live?

Yes Moses left in a stretcher but it’s so incredibly disingenuous to suggest that Hrgovic did that.

As for being a better fighter, maybe.

He’s got a great chin and a good 1-2 but I don’t see him beating Dubois in a rematch or Agit in their fight.

Itauma lack of experience cost him The fight.. Filip hrgovic did nothing against Itauma that convinced me that he's going to dominate the division...

Prime Fury is bigger, quicker, better engine, more skilled than Hrgo. Schooled Wlad, came through Wilder x3, lost to Usyk rather than Dubois. Hrgo's 3rd best win Joyce lost to a faded Chisora, who is something like Fury's 8th best win. Fury often lacked mental stability and discipline but he is the better talent with the heigher ceiling.

Hrgo leapfrogs Povetkin for me, who never beat anyone as good as undefeated Zhang or Itauma. Sanders had one great win but that was it and he was vulnerable.

Chisora is a biased punch drunk moron.

David Price did well against Tony Thompson, until Thompson destroyed him. Thompson was better than Price, just as Hrgo is better than Itauma.

"Yes Moses left in a stretcher but it’s so incredibly disingenuous to suggest that Hrgovic did that."

If not Hrgovic, who beat Itauma up? The ref? A random fan? D. B. Cooper?

    The denial is unreal.
