This could straddle several forums, but I think there are several questions here.

How good would a man like this be in boxing, AND with a fair amount of training, how good would a top modern HW be in another combat sport like kickboxing?

I could use a case like Verhoeven, unbeaten in 11 years, & feel free to say how well you think his success could translate to boxing, or a big top HW against him in kickboxing.

But I wanna use a very short, fat kickboxer as the main example.
On the one hand, many do not comprehend that some can look totally unimpressive in physique, & stll have devastating power, sometimes escellent endurance, (at least hand) speed, great infighting skills-which a tiny reach may well help with.

OTOH, while I can appreciate some of his skills is unrelenting aggression, calm & accuracy, his extremely wide, nearly straight armed punches do not look so great to me.

    Am I missing something?
How good could he have been in boxing, & vice versa with some top HWs?
Vitali did it, could many other HWs?

The record BMi for any HW title fight is Andy Ruiz's 36.4. For the AJ rematch. Francis Ngannou(6'4,278) was 33.

    This guy's 39.2.

The first thing that comes to mind is the rounds. In boxing most major fights are 12 3 minute rounds. 10 rounds is considered a short fight. That's longer than a full MMA title fight. If that build can work for a few 3 minute rounds there is no prospect of that translating to boxing. None.
