With the fight coming this weekend it looks like Ryan is the heavy favorite. Benn has been noticeably killing himself to make 147 but I can't help but think that Ryan is also overlooking Benn. Do you see Benn actually giving Ryan Garcia a tougher than expected fight and perhaps even upsetting him? How much of a chance do you actually give Benn to beat Garcia?

Garcia really isn't all that good. Benn definitely has a chance.

If Rolly can beat Garcia, Benn can too - but it depends how drained he is making 147. But that's on him and no excuse

Garcia is very inconsistent and really does have a lot of flaws. With that said, Benn's style should play into his hands, and Ryan is much more talented and experienced..

I'd say like 65/35ish in Ryan's favor... His counter punching style and lightning fast hands and power really should spell doom for Benn's basic come forward style...but we just don't know what to expect with him.

He has heart and a good engine so he’ll always have a chance but theres a reason why Garcia is the favourite, he should be able to get this done

IMO For benn to win he needs to either pull out a peach of a shot or -probably most likely- break garcias heart down the stretch , it’d have to be with will power and work rate though because he looked terrible against prograis, it’s like he doesn’t have the boxing iq or experience to call upon when a plans not working

I’m rooting for Garcia and hope he knocks him spark out, but Ryan is very inconsistent and thus i would not be surprised at all if Benn pulls off the upset, i give him a fair decent chance. All depends on which version of either guy shows up on the night of.

Though aslong as we get a good spiteful scrap, i’m content, War !

Very few if Garcia steps into the ring well-prepared and motivated, as he was in his last outing against Barrios. Many more, however, if Ryan turns out to be the listless, apathetic fighter seen against Romero. I’m picking Garcia on points, though I wouldn’t be too surprised if Benn won, with Garcia anything is possible.

I don't doubt it'll be competitive but there are reasons Garcia is the favourite: he's a lot more experienced and has better wins (Campbell and Duarte are underrated wins), he looked better in his last fight, he has home country advantage, and Eggs is weight drained. Eggs isn't a bad boxer but he doesn't have any power since he changed his diet. Ryan didn't like Rolly's power, he will not have the same worries against Eggs.

if benn can put some doubts in ryan early he has a chance. ryan doesnt handle doubt well. benn needs to use his size and manhandle ryan up close and just gorilla him, make him feel small in front of the crowd. let his mind do the rest. other than that, ryan should be able to land his money punch as often as it takes.

i think ryan will find the behind ear of conor benn. benn looks super weight drained, he will have beef jerky brain and be very vulnerable and also he hasnt fought a fast twitch snappy puncher like ryan who can catch him coming forward with a shot he wont see. it has all the ingredients for a highlight reel nocaut

Benn is completely drained at 147.

Even at 150, shot to pieces Regis (who frankly had no business being in the ring) was piecing Benn up and won a couple rounds.

Ryan Garcia is very flawed, and I’m not sure he belongs at 147 much longer himself, however he is still a world level fighter regardless. Conor Benn is not, even on a good day, and even if he weren’t a drained corpse.

Benn has no chance, none whatsoever.

On paper Garcia is the obvious favorite but you never know what to expect from the kid.
I see it going one of two ways either Garcia blasts him and takes him out or it's a weird kind of herky jerky boring fight where Benn outworks him and wins.

He looks terrible with the weight cut, and it’s not even over. His power and punch resistance will be low.

It would be poetic if he loses and blames the weight cut after what they made Eubank boil down to.
