I'm thinking it was Ezzard Charlea and then Floyd Patterson, who else? Frazier? Louis? Klitchko?

As champ or in his career?

Bruce Seldon was down many times during his career.

Louis was down 10 times I think. Fury was down 8 times. AJ was down 10 times.

Mike Weaver was down a ton. And hurt even more than that figure.

I think you named them. Patterson would be my first guess

It might be also interesting to compile stats based on the number of different opponents against whom KDs were suffered.

Frazier is often reported as having suffered 10 KDs in total attributed to just two different opponents - Foreman 8 and Bonavena 2.

However, it seems the total number for Joe is actually 11 as he was reported to have been KD’d in the first round by Mike Bruce earlier in his career.

I’ve also read a contention that Joe wasn’t actually KD’d in that fight, rather, he was administered a standing 8 count - but I have no other source for that claim.

Here’s Boxrec’s reporting of an actual KD in the Bruce fight: -

    https://boxrec.com/wiki/index.php/Joe_Frazier_vs._Mike_Bruce

As another example, Ali was legitimately dropped 3 times by 3 different opponents - Banks, Cooper and Frazier.

Of course people are free to include the “official” KD ruled for Wepner, but I certainly don’t.

Just as bad as the ruled KD against Hagler in the Roldan fight.

Actually, Marv’s was worse because it spoilt his otherwise knockdown free record.

We need to petition to have the KD officially struck out though Juan might have something to say about that. Lol.
