I’d give a better chance that Braddock will perform like Jimmy Young, than that Baer will perform like Ron Lyle (and Lyle lost to Foreman).

An early 1990’s George Foreman would have a very good shot at beating all of those men yes. Ironically, Jim Braddock and Tommy Loughran might have had the right blend of durability and boxing style to give him the most trouble. That doesn’t mean I’d favor them though

 

This is a tough one for me. I think boxing evolved a lot in the almost 60 years. Foreman was not at his best either, tho.

I'd go with George because he was a decent bit bigger than these guys with a good chin and reasonably good boxing skills. Typically, I wouldn't think someone could go through a list of champions like this without being truly special.

 

Schmeling could maybe make it difficult for George, he was no slouch.
Max Baer could make it a painful night for him, in fact he'd hit George like he's never been hit before.But I see Foreman getting a decision over him.
There's no many on that list that I'd pick over George, but I don't think they all get ktfo quickly.

The slippery guys like Loughran would be a pain in the ass for Old Foreman to catch up to. Any of the bruiser type guys on the list would lose badly.

 

Agree. But It might be fun to see Max Baer and old George slug it out for however long it lasts
