I agree with all of this, but I do have to say Crawfords personality since he SIGNED the Canelo fight has been a let down…

He went from mostly a let your hands do the talking guy - to an “im the best ever and could beat everyone” type… Talking smack to or about fighters around his weight (some of whom he could have competed against if he wanted to….), disrespecting greats like Pacquiao, etc… to me this is more off-putting to this more after retirement, than if he was always carrying himself as such….

 

That's true; he's gone from being priced out and frozen out at every turn to becoming the A-side and not thinking anyone else deserves a shot at him, all because he had to deal with such promotional nonsense a decade ago. In Crawford's defense he has earned the right to talk like this, Garcia is a drug cheat, lost to Tank, and got slapped by Rolly, he's achieved nothing but thinks he is the second-coming of De La Hoya.

Garcia is entitled to whatever opinion. But Garcia is the same puss who literally ran from Rolly Romero to avoid getting koed after getting dropped? Whatever you think of Crawford, when did he ever do that in a fight?

It would amount to sheer cruelty never mind bullying if they ever met in the ring, Crawford is levels above and is entitled to speak his mind in return. Garcia is a very talented fighter but he blows hot and cold and the jury is still out as to how good he can be. Biggest win has asterisks of failed PED test and didn’t come on weight. Got a title shot off a loss and won a belt against a C level fighter, some good wins on his rise up, valiant effort against Tank but got dealt with (clearly looked like a skeleton so that didn’t help), impressive amateur career. Potentially has ten years to cement a serious legacy but right now he can’t lace Crawford’s boots no matter how many views he gets doing his streaming. Benn isn’t anything special but he’d be a decent title defense despite being drained himself.

 

What did I miss?! Is Crawford a drug cheat?
