Loved the first fight; will the second one measure up? Not based upon the first round, but they're entitled to take a look at one another despite the previous encounter. Nontshinga seemed the more ambitious of the two early, but the right hand he wanted to launch was ridiculous, slingy, not for the first round, Suganob's more conservative jab brings him the first round.

Nontshinga is moving more, a circle that works its way around the whole ring, to his right, Suganob just holding the middle of the ring and inviting Nontshinga in. He's relaxed, even his guard is a little relaxed, just trying to spear with his left hand. When the two do meet by the ropes, Suganob is just as busy as Nontshinga, who does score a nice one-two in the middle of the ring before going away to his right. The difference though through two minutes is the slappy surge onto Nontshinga's position. This feels weird. Nontshinga is the better technician but right now he's being out-jabbed and losing the footwork argument. Better redress the plan or he's going to be a long way behind.

Nontshinga Got caught with the best punch of the fight there, a wideish left hook that left him momentarily disorganised. Suganob is out-wrestling, out-hitting, out-moving, out-jabbing and generally out-generalling his guy. It is not clear to me at all what Nontshinga's fight plan is, I can't make head nor tail of it. He's missed some wide hard right hands and that's basically his contribution to fight. Nontshinga doesn't quite look like a man who has come to lose - that feeling of just trying to stay out of trouble - it's not that bad, but it is in the neghbourhood into this third round. Wow! And in the literal last second, the last second of the round, Nontshinga finally lands a big right hand and Suganob is sat down on his butt, it's a proper knockdown, commentary scrambling to put it off on balance - no, Suganob was buzzed. And now it's all even and the work Suganob has put in the first two rounds is wiped...all square, how will that big right hand affect the fight going forwards? Perfect, exactly what this fight needed.

Suganob has an excellent first minute, the fight looks iike the first three, so he's obviously not allowed himself to be trimmed by that punch. Some interesting exchanges along the ropes, Nontshinga looks disorganised again but continues to seem happy to give ground, looking to bring Sguanob onto another big one.

I'm happy to call this a pattern now. Sguanob will win the rounds where the South African does not land a significant punch...and in fact, - wow, holy ****, I think Nontshinga is knocked out. He is knocked out! That is some result for the Filipino, god damn, well worked sir. Nontshinga went into that disorganised retreat along the ropes again and Suganob just unloaded on him and Nontshinga is absolutely collapsed, Tony Weekes counts over him and counts him out.
