I’d like to see it. Will probably be a super boring fight where Shakur will jab and move his way to like an 8-4 decision. He is not gonna engage in the pocket with Garcia lol
10% punchers chance to Garcia. If focused he'll at least spaz out and maybe land something. Shakur can control the pace and make it as fast or boring as he likes which will be Ryan's undoing.
Outside of power which Shakur negates better than anybody, they are similar in speed, and Shakur is the far, far superior boxer.
As others here say, Garcia has a piunchers chance, not more. But Lopez-Garcia is probably a better fight. We have a good WW divison now, if the fights actually gets made. Big 'if' unfortunately. Neither Haney or Garcia seem to want a rematch, so Lopez against one of them seems the most likely option. If I was Lopez, I'd prefer Garcia. Better stylistical match-up and more fan friendly fight. If they face off and Shakur-Haney also do, a meet between the winners would be great in theory, but in reality I think it would be a Lopez-Shakur 2 and not that interesting. Also there's a question how long Haney sticks around at 147, since he's big even for that weight.
I'm a fan of Ryan, but Shakur 12-0's him As someone who never liked Shakur when he was coming up, Shakur is a top p4p fighter, probably top 3 right now
Pretty clear to me that stevenson wins inside the distance. Garcia has big strengths in speed and power (via speed), but many more weaknesses that good boxers can exploit. His footwork and defense alone are enough to give stevenson full control and will let him punch without possible retribution in many many situations. There is no reason for stevenson then to hold back and he will get garcia out of the fight.
