Tank won't take the risk against a fully hydrated Ryan at 147 lol... Ryan would KO him imo... If Ryan cut to 135 again Tank would be heavy favourite.
Stop! Ryan was 2 weighclasss bigger than the midget on fight night and got the fight beat out of him. Tank also beat up Barrios and was dwarfed in the ring long before garcia fought him. Garcia will always be Tank's son. Tank also beat rolly to with ease the same rolly who dropped and beat garcia lmfao. You need to stop with the delusional thinking
I'd like to see Davis first. Davis could EASILY get into Ryan's head and make him fight stupid (which he already does) and stop him again. If they fought eachother in their next fight I'd go Garcia though.
Don't see how anyone can pick Garcia against prime Tank. As Tank is level above him, he dominated the fight and knocked him out, as well as dominated and KO'd Rolly who also beat Garcia quite comfortably Garcia wins only if Tank is shot
Well their first fight was super weird. Garcia was dehydrated, with a Mole in the camp, started the fight attacking like an idiot and was stopped with a inferior shot that shouldn't have been able to stop him under normal conditions. But since garcia actually had successes and wasn't actually 'dominated', in a potential second fight without these issues, and with davis' recent history, garcia has to be the favorite. Stevenson mops the floor with all of them. I wonder how old loma would do against garcia.
Tank is more skilled and he is the better fighter but their fight was not above board. The current versions of both I pick Garcia to win at welterweight.
He may have gone down to the body shot but the one that nailed him was a very nasty shot, I was impressed how nonchalantly he just got up lol.
At 147 it's more difficult for Tank, but I reckon Garcia has the wrong style against Twink. Long, but not in control enough to smother, outrange, and exploit his reach. Fast, explosive, and hard-hitting, but not crafty and elite enough to not make those shots a window for Tank's counterpunching. Then again, Garcia was somewhat boiled and green at time they fought. He went the championship distance three more times, win or lose, since then. With how sliding and inactive Tank was—who knows.
