Foster had a long reign, so it’s hard to know when his absolute prime was, it could be the Tiger fight, but it could also be the Mike Quarry fight, but whenever you think it was, Who wins this matchup?
Battle of the jabs for most of the fight, but I think Foster eventually finds him with a big shot and unloads on him. Late KO for The Deputy Sheriff.
This would be an amazing fight that I’d love to see if it were possible . I’d lean towards Johnson to win but Foster with his punching power and all that height and reach would be dangerous
Johnson has the skills to outbox and outpoint Foster but there's always a chance of a dynamite left hook that crushes him. I slightly favor Johnson but a stoppage win for Foster is definitely something I can see happening.
In his younger years, Johnson had a terrible habit of backing straight out vs. taller/rangier opponents, & this led to him getting tagged @ the end of long punches & dropped or even KO'd multiple times. Foster would be the worst opponent for any lhw w/ that vulnerability to face IMO.
