For the unified WBC & WBA Welterweight titles. The idea of the fight for the next Cinco de Mayo originated last month, after Lopez's win over Romero. Now it seems more than likely that both will square off.

Who do you guys think will win?

Jack Catterall gets screwed again! For the record I think Catterall beats both - as for these two, I think Teo is a better boxer than Ryan but 1) he has stagnated and 2) he seemed gunshy against Rolly, and was affected more by Rolly's punches than I thought he'd be.I think he'll be outboxing Garcia until Garcia catches him. Maybe Garcia doesn't knock him out, but knocks him down enough times to win a decision (similar to Haney fight). I'll be rooting for Teo tho.

At 5'7 Lopez is too small, Garcia will time him as he tries to get inside, Lopez doesn't have enough power to bother Garcia.

A very intriguing fight, depending on which version of each shows up. The buildup has excellent potential, too. If the best versions of both show up, I fancy Teo to win on a close decision, but it wouldn't surprise me if Garcia caught him like he caught Benn. I definitely wouldn't bet on it, but I hope it gets made. Garcia vs. Haney 2 is the big one, so hopefully Ryan gets past Teo, and then we can see that one materialize.

Both inconsistent fighters that have some of the best wins (Haney and Loma) but also some of the worst losses (Kambosos and Rolly). I pick Ryan by decision because I believe Ryan has better speed, power, and lateral movement at 147. He can beat him to the punch and use quick footwork. I wouldn't bet on it though.

As Teo has moved up through the weights he has flattered to deceive; he is still a tidy boxer, but his power has definitely not carried up with him, and against Rolly he looked perturbed by the power coming back at him. Garcia has the power, speed, length and accuracy to seriously trouble him, whilst conversely I don't think Teo has the power or aggression to exploit Ryan's vulnerabilities at this weight. If they fight the bout could transpire like Garcia-Haney, where Garcia scores multiple knockdowns en route to a decision, but a stoppage win for Garcia is not out of the question either.

I think that Lopez will win a decision.
Garcia will start fast and have his moments early maybe even score a knockdown but for the majority I think Teo will play it safe keep his defense tight and outbox Ryan to a 8-4 like decision.

I have Garcia if he takes it serious. Garcia is faster and has more power. Lopez power has not gone up with him. If Romero can catch him then so can Garcia.

With these two head case I never know which one of their alter ego will show up.

    Teo by decision

For how explosive Ryan’s punching and movement is, he still makes basic mistakes that I see Teo countering.

Mistakes like Ryan dropping his hand when punching, leaning in, telegraphing his punches, he still hasn’t really corrected any of it, it’s just that Barrios and Benn weren’t good enough to capitalise on them, whereas Luke Campbell, Tank, Rolly were. Teo is very much a skilled counterpuncher like the latter group of fighters.

If Romero and Shakur's power and speed were enough to keep Lopez skittish, he'll be petrified of Ryan. And do we all remember the shot that Rolly hurt him with? It's almost identical to the one Ryan dropped Benn with. Only difference is, Ryan is a far more accurate finisher than Romero is.

Garcia didnt beat Haney the result was overturned because of Ryan testing positive for peds. Dont believe me take a look at his record. Where have you been?

I think Teo takes it with his ring IQ. Also, Garcia's style should suit him well.
