Inoue vs Cardenas, Usyk vs Dubois 2, Crawford vs Canelo, Bivol vs Beterbiev 2, Wardley vs Parker , Kabayel vs Zhang, Benavidez vs Morrell
It has been interesting, with the fights that have come to fruition, and the overall state of the sport. Zuffa's entry, the new cold war between them and the status quo. The heavyweight landscape is seemingly in a multi-speed state - the old guard wrapped in their own little circle and the new title holders, trying establish themselves as legitimate champions. Inoue continues to enchance his legacy and Japanese boxing is on fire, great cards throughout the year. There have been some issues, but I think there are more positives than negatives.
Overall, 2025 was somewhat better. The biggest weakness this year is the inactivity of many boxers, especially at heavyweight and light-heavyweight. It would be better if the promoters would come up with some good matchups for November and December.
