1990-91 George Foreman vs these 1930s heavyweights

Baer gets beat up bad.

I can't see a Schmeling that was overpowered by Baer doing better vs George.

Primo, no but the interesting thing is if he jabbed and moved and clinched with his own size he has the best shot at a decision. He wouldn't hurt George but Primo had a few things going for him .. size, strength, a jab, tremendous courage and stamina.

Sharkey was **** in the 1930's .. the best Sharkey and the guy with the best shot would hav been a 1927 Sharkey.

Tommy, too small.

Kingfish, no.

Braddock, no.

 

I think that he would pick up a loss somewhere in this list.

These are exactly the kind of men who could be spoilers for him, for one reason or another.

Primo seems underrated to me.

 

Some great fighters on that list but I think old George clears it. He was defensively prudent and so clever at laying traps, catching people with short but devastating punches and in surprising bunches. I believe Primo is underrated but think he is one of the easier on that list for this version of George.

Jeez, Swag will have an aneurism, I'm backing Foreman!!
