Prime Wilder is incredibly overrated even now, but Itauma has some major flaws and hasn't beaten a live gatekeeper yet.

You'd have to favour Wilder overall, though his limited durability makes it a live question.

They fought in their very next fight and Wilder won a 12 round war, despite being the away fighter and B-side in London. Chisora shattered Takam's chin, stopped undefeated Scott, put Kevin, Parker, Joyce and Wallin on the canvas, but could not beat a Wilder in the worst form of his career.

You also picked Stiverne 1, Ortiz 1 and Fury 1 to "shatter Wilder's glass jaw". Your prediction record here is terrible.

 

What is your obsession with Fury? You continually drag him into threads and discussions that have absolutely nothing to do with him, seemingly just to find another excuse to disparage him. And I'm clearly not the only one who's noticed it.

The discussion whether Ortiz was a legitimate threat and somehow you've managed to turn that into yet another attempt to "hype up Wilder and presumably Fury." Fury wasn't even part of the discussion. At this point, you seem more interested in finding ways to shoehorn Fury into every argument than the people you accuse of trying to hype him.

 

At least he is slightly more incognito about it than the wally who brings up AJ in every thread (Im being generous with the word lightly I realise this)

 

What does Zhang have to do with anything? I don't consider Fury a big puncher and he stopped Wilder twice.

I think its obvious though that the more top contenders Wilder faces the greater his probability of getting stopped.

If he somehow also fought Wlad, Povetkin, Joshua, Dubois, Wardley, Ruiz, etc he faces much higher odds of getting knocked out. That's a bigger risk with better competition which is why I don't put much stock in him not getting knocked out earlier.

 

Fury hasn't fought the vast majority of his contemporaries though
He's missed Kabayel, Povetkin, Wardley, Dubois, Pulev, Ruiz, Zhang, Joyce, etc, etc, etc

Why would you expect him to fight Ortiz when he's missed out on so many guys? Ortiz is just one in a long line of contenders Fury didn't fight.

Fought Arreola a month later as a late replacement then for his next fight in 2017 he was supposed to face the mandatory Warwzyk but that guy failed a drug test too so he fought another poor replacement Gerald Washington. Then he fights Stiverne in the joke of a rematch after that. His record is quite unimpressive apart from Ortiz and Fury. It was how he got rid of most of them which was entertaining. I think Povetkin would have taken that belt and we'd see if Wilder could climb up the ranks and get a shot at AJ or Fury which would have been more interesting. Think he sued Povetkin which dragged on for a while and thought **** him since he tried to become PEDvetkin when it was a difficult enough prospect fighting him without any enhancements. Joshua had a decent performance against him so he had no problem fighting him, think he broke AJ's nose pretty good, an enhanced Povetkin two years younger could've potentially flatlined Wilder.
