Why is Michael Pirotton a 10/1 underdog against Johnny Fisher?

Pirotton:

- 6'5, 82 inch reach, 230-240 lbs in decent shape

- 30 years old, boxing since he was 17/18, signed as a prospect at 24 by DiBella

- 12-2 as a pro, 6 by stoppage, 68 pro rounds, turned pro in 2019, both losses by 6/8 round UD against unbeaten fighters, apparently never dropped (at least as a pro), 15 amateur bouts, 2-7 in the TBL one-rounders,

- Beat durable cruiserweight title challenger Glanton in the TBL, stopped 7-0 Walter Burns and beat Giovanni Auriemma (who holds a victory over Kristian Prenga)

- Pirotton must know that his best chance of victory is by stoppage, so he should be looking for a KO punch more than he was against the other fighters he fought

- This is the biggest opportunity of Pirotton's career and probably his last chance, so he should be motivated to grab it with both hands


The case for Pirotton is not that he's a dark horse contender in the making or anything like that. But I don't see how one can rationally have Fisher as a 90%+ favourite, given his severe limitations. Would anyone be surprised here if Fisher lost?


Fisher:

- 27 years old, 14-1 as a pro, 50 pro rounds, turned pro in 2021, 12 amateur bouts, apparently less than 7 years of serious boxing experience

- Dropped in all of his last three fights: got a gift SD against journeyman Dave Allen, got sparked in 5 with relative ease by Allen in the rematch, was dropped heavily in the 1st round and forced to spoil grotesquely by a totally unknown 8/1 underdog in Ivan Balaz

- There is far more footage of Fisher than there is of Pirotton

- Fisher's career is on the line on his Zuffa debut in front of his hometown fans: there is massive pressure


Fisher is ranked 83rd in the world on Boxrec to Pirotton's 149th but aside from the dubious nature of these rankings and the level that far down, how much of Fisher's higher ranking is due to his gift decision over Allen the first time? How much is due to Fisher knocking out a shot Babic? Has Fisher really improved significantly since his 6/7 round roll arounds with a 10-11, 37 year old, 3 fight losing streak, final fight Spanish journeyman and an overweight 5-1-1, 0 KO's Harry Armstrong?
