Really good fight this to be fair. Given Sam Jones' record of stepping his fighters up, you have to think Hedges gets it done.
A lot of people sleeping on Hedges, a 6’5 southpaw who was a 40-4 amateur with numerous international honours, also has a top trainer in Frankie Greaves. If he does have enough pop to keep Brown honest and hesitant it could get very interesting after a few rounds.
Brown is one of the most exciting British boxers we've seen come round in a while, so I really hope he can take this and continue an upward trajectory in his career. Saying that, for either fighter a loss shouldn't hold them back too much provided they put on a respectable showing; this is exactly the sort of fight we should be seeing more of, and I really detest it when promising fighters are written off if they challenge themselves early on in their career and fall short.
