If it was the Itauma that turned up to face Hrgovic, I would strongly favour Itauma.
There are a fair HWs that I don't think would have lasted like Hrgovic did, and I think he would have stopped Wilder before the halfway point.

Now we don't know how Itauma will be after a loss and if he will be the same, so couldn't say now.
Funny thing is that I wouldn't have been too sure before he fought Hrgovic and am not sure now after, but think the version that lost to Hrgovic would have beaten Wilder

    Styles make fights

Fury did so little outside the Wilder trilogy that you have to have a very high opinion of Wilder to rate Fury highly. His resume without Wilder is very thin.

I should think this is pretty obvious.

Even with Wilder he only beat 3 ring ranked opponents which is very low given the hype.

Jesus Christ, you genuinely cannot help yourself, can you?

I ask why you seem incapable of discussing Wilder without somehow dragging Fury into it, and your response is... another unsolicited paragraph about Fury.

Do you not see how hilarious that is?

Nobody was talking about Fury. Nobody asked you to rate Fury's résumé. Nobody was even discussing whether Wilder's career enhances Fury's legacy. We were talking about Luis Ortiz. YOU introduced Fury completely out of nowhere, and when I pointed out your bizarre fixation, instead of denying it or explaining why he was relevant, you immediately launched into yet another tirade about why Fury is overrated.

Thank you for demonstrating my point more effectively than I ever could.

And this isn't even something I'm imagining. Other posters have independently noticed it and called you out for exactly the same thing. At some point, when people are asking why you've "got it in for Fury" in completely separate discussions, perhaps the common denominator isn't everyone else.

We get it. You don't like Fury. Message received about 400 posts ago. But Luis Ortiz being regarded as a dangerous heavyweight does not require some convoluted Fury-related ulterior motive. Not every compliment Wilder receives is secretly propaganda for Tyson Fury.

It's now also Usyk propaganda because Fury lost to Usyk and hyping up Wilder helps Fury which helps Usyk. Even worse Usyk is apparently planning to fight Wilder next.

But moving on I don't see how Ortiz resume backs up him being some scary boogeyman.

His best win is Bryant Jennings

Efe Ajagba has a comparable resume to Ortiz potentially better and he doesn't get any hype. Nobody is claiming he is some sort of scary boogeyman who everyone is ducking.

And where is the evidence for everyone avoiding him?

Part of the problem with this past era is that so many big fights didn't happen. I don't understand why fans have such a forgiving attitude to guys that spent so much of their careers ducking hard fights and taking on guys they were sure they could beat.

There were plenty of fights Wilder could have taken against ranked opponents where he would have had a good shot at winning but seemingly declined because it posed too much risk.

Itauma by UD. Faster and able to get on the inside. He'd frustrate Wilder all night. I can see Wilder landing some bangers and Itauma having to pick himself up off the canvas, but I think he perseveres and pulls off a win.
