Weeks later and some posters on here still can’t come to grips with Itauma being nothing more than an unproven hype job with no stamina, no Ring iq and a questionable Chin. Hrgovic is simply the better fighter. Period.

I think that when we say talented we refer mostly to skills, speed and athleticism. While if we would Saïd gifted we could add chin, heart and recovery
Someone may argue that Hrgovic is more gifted overall. But considering Itauma's age and room for improvements, I highly doubt

i really dont understand the controversy. hrgovic is a 9 year pro. itauma has been a pro for 3 years. hrgovic has been fighting at world contender level longer than moses has been fighting pro. for 3/4 of that fight itauma was making filip look out of his league. what exactly do you believe it is that enabled this inexperienced kid to do that to an experienced top level pro?

I think he's saying Hrgovic is better than Itauma. Point blank.

He’s better than Itauma who was sold to us as the next big thing.

If Itauma was not sold as the next big thing, would you be making such a huge fuss over nothing???

Hrgovic said Itauma is amazing, amazing, amazing. Best he ever shared a ring with. Itauma is the future Sir Filip says.

So who to believe? Some pot-bellied, Forum dwelling, Pringles muncher caller Rico and his side chick Slash?

Or a long time pro boxer that lives and breathes boxing, for a living?

I know who my pick is.

I think weeks later you can't come to grips with letting it go. Why so triggered by the best talent in boxing (according to Filip Hrgovic?)?

We all moved on, and you're still crying over something Rico!

Sounds like he's set the bar so low you'd think he was Charles Martin level...
There's overrating and underrating. You're doing the latter so much it essentially renders Hrgovics achievement as meaningless.

That's not the way I read it. You're comprehension is slanting towards Itauma who got stretchered out of the ring.

I'm not sure how else you could read that tbh. It took Hrgovic 9 rounds to knockout a 21 year old prospect with "no stamina, no ring IQ and a questionable chin". He also got knocked down by the same guy and lost most of the rounds to him.
