Bivol vs Beterbiev III is possible for April of 2027

Who honestly cares. Should have fought ages ago.

 

Not too crazy for this and would rather they both just move on but it seems only fair for them to have one last showdown since they're 1-1. Beterbiev is already 41 but I'm sure even at this age he'll be able to hold his own well but this is a fight that should definitely favor Bivol at this stage.

Let’s not complain it’s so late, let’s look forward that it may happen at all. Both fights were Magic and having it at home on Russia will add another layer of intensity. I look forward to it

 

This fight will show, if bivol is permanently worse now from his operation. If he is, this will be quite competitive. If he is still in his prime, it might be a mismatch

Bivol won the second fight pretty clearly and Beterbiev hasn't done anything since

I guess the division is kind of weak right now and Benavidez got fed up waiting and moved up

Callum Smith is ranked pretty high, I don't have much interest in seeing him vs Bivol

 

This should have been done by fall of 2025

They should pay us to watch this.

 

Beterbiev will be 42 years old and will have been inactive for 26 months if this bout does take place in April. Neither of those facts make this fight very enticing. Interestingly, despite the fact the two men split their first bouts in a competitive manner there has never been a big outpouring of desire to see a third clash. I will watch but I wouldn't pay for this one.

Beterbiev won the first fight at 40 years old he has already proven he is the better fighter and likely would've stopped Bivol in his prime.

 

Bivol followed the age him out playbook here. Shame.

 

Bivol aged out a 41 year old, wanted him to be 42 or 43. Lame as hell.
