Neither of them deserve an obscene payday anyway as they are both washed up and pretending to do the fight 'for the fans'

I can only speak for myself however, and there are still a lot of fans in UK that have supported both fighters for years and without the UK demand there would be a big loss on the fight.

This 2 separate contracts thing is a real balls up. Especially as they appear to have employed a child to draw them up.

 

I can't buy Wilder being the number 2 heavyweight in 2020. There are too many guys id favor to beat him H2H. Obviously Usyk would be favored. Probably also guys like Hrgovic, Parker, Zhang, Kabayel etc.

Wilders team wouldn't have fought him because they already held a belt and had no need to take risks. Just because fans wanted him to fight Wlad doesn't make it a smart business decision.

 

There’s pros and cons. A big hold-up previously was that both men could see what the other was making, and wasn’t happy. Anyhow I think with Cardiff likely to solve the question of the venue, this fight is likely going to be official soon.

 

It's been fun with the Saudi model... Now I've just had enough of them and would prefer things to reset back to how they were.. I hear you. And if it was only the bottom figure that differs then no problem. The issue is that the contacts don’t resemble each other. In the case of AJ v Fury the location and drug testing don’t match up. And who knows what else. This is a cluster whatsit. Amateur hour.
