Should be interesting. Hattons ferocity mixed with some Mayweather training? I just hope its not too little too late in Hattons career. Definitely cant hurt though

Hatton's in for some good training, would be nice to see Hatton box a lot more, but still go for that body attack now and again.

He will be a better trainer than the last guy. However Hatton is still past his best. He could probably beat Paulie, especially with Mayweather training him, but he wont beat the top guys anymore.

Actually many of the best guys have went up to 147, so maybe he could do well at 140 for a few more fights.

Mayweather also trains Oscar de la Hoya. The Golden Boy takes on Manny Pacquiao on December 6, meaning Mancunian Hatton could join him in a training camp in the United States.

Hatton getting delusions of grandeur. Mayweather won't be able to polish a turd so what we might get with Hatton is a diluted version of his former self without the class to pull off the hybrid.

Better to be very good at one thing than be mediocre at two.

this is interesting but imo for the wrong opponent. in the malignaggi fight, he must be the hatton of old, aggressive, relentless and suffocating in order to win. he would not beat malignaggi on the backfoot or with a defense-first tactic.

Hatton will learn how to shoulder roll, feint and potshot his way past people to get to the bar better than ever now. Sipping pints in 'the pocket'

 well put, you are spot-on. This will not help Hatton at all.

Not sure that Hatton is mobile enough to take advantage of what Senior has to offer.

If Hatton starts coming out with 'I got him with the Michigan check hook' we know he's lost the plot :)

Hattons footwork is OK - to a degree. He needs to move his head.

So what do you think he should have done. Take on a **** trainer instead?
