    "I'm a sophisticated fighter that has mastered all the skills of boxing. He's in uncharted waters. I'm gonna take him out to deep waters and I'm gonna drown him. That's the bottom line. I'm motivated by this fight. They done made me the underdog to a fighter that's unproven as far as I'm concerned. It's ridiculous."

    It is quite rediculous at this stage ..I could argue an even fight but Dawson the favorite :think Nah

    I still have'nt picked a winner for this fight yet I need to watch Dawson fight with Johnson one more time then I'll choose who I think is going to win because this fight seems 50/50 to me.

    Tarver is a damn good fighter when he's on his A Game, lets hope he brings it.

    True but that was a ko win against Roy and even that punch was lucky to me. Imo he hasn't been the same since. I think Tarver has a punchers chance. But Dawson should win honestly

    I think it was a lucky punch - but more than anything I think that Tarver has a mental edge on Jones for some reason. Every person on this planet has a natural nemesis. It's a weird thing found in nature, something spiritual and/or cosmic. Tarver even owned Roy in basketball, allegedly, and Tarver isn't a good athlete overall. Tarver isn't a very good fighter overall either, IMO. I have Dawson winning this fight, but when people talk about an upset I have to admit something about that rings truth. It could happen, but I'm betting against it.

    Oh yeah, but your right about Tarver having a mental edge on Roy. But it's crazy becasue Tarver is so jealous of him :-( But more than anything that press conference after Jones beat Ruiz ****ed him up. It was ****ed up Tarver didn't let him shine, but it worked in Tarver's favor. You remember when Viv Harris tried that to Floyd before the Gatti fight. Then Maussa ko him :rofl

    I see it pretty much 50/50...providing Tarver comes at his best at this stage of his career.

    Dawson looked better against Johnson than Tarver did gainst Woods. Probably doesn't mean anything, but I just think Tarver is washed up. He should spend time with his fine ass wife. But Briggs got him as far as women is concerned :yep :hey
