Griffith was kod once at 160 in the 1st round by a big puncher who caught him cold,Griffith had a great chin at Welter and Middle.

Margarito's chin held up; the fight was stopped on a cut both times. If anything Santos in the second fight was struggling on the ropes to hold up to Antonio.

Hurricane Carter said pre-fight "No WW in the world belongs in the ring with me" ....and Griffith didn't that day.

Fenech just seemed to go overnight to me. A strange one. Victor was actually a huge hitter and Mario was quite solid. Jeff took some good shots first fight vs Azumah too. IMO there's no way Grove was stopping Fenech from the initial Nelson fight back. Jeff just totally lost it, he went from a great fighter to near shyte in no time. It was like someone had turned off a switch. Even at the lower weights Fenech could be rattled here and there, as almost anyone can. I'd say he had a fine chin overall, not great and not weak. I'm trying to remember the 80's guy that said all of a sudden he just could not take a punch, i wonder if it was Sean O'Grady.

were you as suprised as I and Margarito were that Santos not only stood and traded with Margo but he seemed to be able to take Margo's best shots come forward and hurt Margo lol. I think he can relate to how Cotto felt
