I'm interested in who people think Golota should fight ?

For anyone who doesn't know ... Chengdu is a massive city (over 10 million) in Sichuan Province (almost 100 million ... including Chongqing well over 100 million). I don't know much about why this fight is to be held there tho. or how it is to be marketed in China.

I know I'll get some flack for suggesting this but from a marketing point of view in China, Don King could do worse than Audley Harrison. I say this for one single reason ... he is an Olympic Gold medalist. The Chinese public really won't really need to know anything else about him except that fact. If ever being an Olympic medalist was going to pay off, it's in China right now. Just a thought.

Otherwise, who would be a good choice for Golota ...

David Tua is an overrated fighter.. I can't believe you're still riding on that wagon, he's thrown a few years of obvious prosperity down the BIN. He couldn't even manage to beat Hasim Rahman fair and square, but had to cheat.. and that was a few years back.

David Tua aint knocking out Golota when he couldnt even get it done on the shakiest whiskers to ever hold a title!

It's widely known Golota schooled David Tua when they sparred in the 90s. And this was the Tua before he became a stay puff marshmellow man.

Outside the obvious title fight, Golota-Meehan make sense as the eliminator for Valuev.
Haye seems to be eager for top 10 opponent as well which could work as the eliminator for Wlad.

I read somewhere on these boards that Ray Austin has stepped up for the fight.
