:good, this board is fool af people like that. Half of them never boxed themselves. I never boxed, but seen plenty of fights train. It not an easy job in there. I hope he can comeback, but he seems to be in good spirits :good

He should have stayed down a few seconds to get his head together, when he jumped back up he was staggering all over. Needs to learn from that one.

Wow stunning performance by prescott. I saw his last fight on ESPN and he looked far from impressive in fact I scored the bout to his opponent Richard Abril. Abril outboxed him and I thought had done enough to win a very close contest, however Prescott got the SD win.

I knew Khan has an extremely suspect chin but Prescott did not seem to be that big a puncher at a slightly higher level in the Abril fight. I thought Khan would be exposed but not by this guy. With all the talk of Khan working on his defence etc, Prescott did not seem to have much in the way of skills in his last fight and I assumed Khan would outbox him and stop him in the middle rounds or take a decision.
I guess the only skill he needed was to use his reach and land one big shot. lol

Damn I should have had at least £10 on Prescott he was a massive underdog.

Watch Frank Warren sign up James Degale in the not too distant future:roll:

I said it all along...he had great speed, good mechanics, no chin or defense. I knew the first really good puncher he faced (who was also a marginally decent fighter) would beat him.

I still think he will be a decent (at best) fighter over the length of his career, but this loss doesnt suprise me in the least.

Even if the British amateur stars said that they would likely stay in their place till 2012, Warren will shell out the biggest amount of money amateurs ever recieved for turning pro - he's desperate after this tough loss tonight...

It's a good thing because it will make a lot of people realise that he was a hype train. The sickening amount of attention he got for doing little to none was unreal. Plus he started to believe his own hype. He fell in the first minute to the first genuine (and I use that term loosely because of his relatively untested record) power puncher he faced.
