Kellermans hands shake when he talks serious.

more importantly, he sucks. can't we get better announcers then him and Lennox. They're annoying even when they're not shaking.

 

he just goes about it all wrong. he apologizes first just in case he saw it wrong, then he says its the worst officiated fight ever since the last time he said it. As bad as he is with the play by play, he's worse at the interviews.

Kellerman is such a turd... what is he there for? Why is he interviewing fighters? He's got no tact, no personality, he just lays out these ******ed questions that don't provoke any kind of insightful response - it's like he's trying to give the interview some edge and get a rise out of the fighters but he just ends up making it awkward and appear that he wasn't just watching the fight himself... Diaz and Kat should have double teamed him and left his face looking like Barrios' mouth at the end of the Juarez fight... put the little worm in his place.

 

Bingo. It is a JOKE that HBO has this unqualified CLOWN commentating on its shows. Alone among boxing commentators, Kellerman never worked as a journalist or was a participant in professional boxing. It shows.

And he has a hell of a lot of nerve criticizing corruption, when it was his rich daddy's connections that got him his job at ESPN - a job for which he had absolutely NO qualification.

 

yeah, i definitely give him credit for that and i'm probably being a little harsh - i just dont like that he has such an open forum to the boxing and general public with our favorite fighters and doesn't seem to be getting the most out of it. It must be quite alot of pressure being in there and trying to say a) the right things, b) say the things other people are asking you to say and then add to that you never know what the fighter will say back - i know i couldn't do a better job - but ****, there are alot of people who can. He needs to be replaced with someone that asks more of the things we want fighters to be asked and less things that unsuccessfully attempt to evoke the reaction Kellerman wants to get out of the fighter.

He was right to question the judge and Kat's trainer was ten times the wanker Kellerman was tonight - guess i'm just sick of Kellerman

 

Honestly I don't get the hate for Kellerman, he isn't great but he is allright. He is usually on top of the fight and tonight kept the stupid coments down. I don't have a problem with him.

I thought jabing at the trainer was uncalled for, even though he was right. any way it makes for good TV

Lenox on the other hand is just way too awkward.

 

Than Kellerman?? You're joking, right? There's a whole SLEW of guys who are better. Ever heard of Al Bernstein?? Steve Farhood??

Unlike Kellerman, these guys are QUALIFIED boxing commentators who paid their dues as journalists, and consequently know something about the sport.

 

Great to hear Max diagreed with that judge who had it for Kats. I went to the fight and it was too noisy when Max started talking. I thought he was agreeing with that judge.
