i know we haven't seen Juan Manuel Marquez fight at 135 yet, but I get the feeling he'll do fine next week. JMM vs. Juan Diaz would be an interesting clash of styles.
dudes ... i really like juan diaz alot, but you're high if you think he stands a chance against JMM. jmm is one of the greatest fighters of our generation ... especially in the lighter weights. two disputed losses to pac, and he was solid in his victory against barrera and dominating against others.
Marquez hasn't even fought at 135 yet and David Diaz wasn't as good as Juan/Katsidis/Guzman/Campbell. Juan Diaz gets a UD JMM doesn't have the reflexes to handle a younger guy like this at a higher weight.
Interesting fight.. It would be close.. I could see either of these fighters winning.. JMM off his counter-punching or Diaz, being the younger fighter that he is, just overwhelming JMM at times.. I dunno, but it would be a neat fight to see.. I would like to see JMM/Guzman and JDiaz/Peterson..
