Fooled by the hype machine i was , ive got to admit it , i knew his chin was'nt great , but still shelled out the £15. What are sky sports going to do now with their PPV star ?. As an Englishman im gutted another one of our ' stars ' has been KTFO!
I didn't buy the PPV - and was more than happy to see all but 6 seconds of the fight on Sky Sports News. The Headline in last weeks Boxing News Magazine read "Is he worth it?" and we got an emphatic answer didn't we!!!! PPV my arse! Sky have p1ssed on their chips with this one!
I honestly dont know what SKY can do. Khan is between rock and a hard place now. As his signed a PPV contract and been found extremely wanting. Theres no way SKY or Warren can expect fans to pay £15 for a gimme. It would make more sense for SKY to buy him out as the PPV`s from now on will be a monumental failure.
It is a great shame that Khan has been exposed but hardly a suprise to anyone who has followed his career to date and has any knowledge of the sport - but Sky still went ahead with the deal with Warren. It is worth pointing out that Sky signed the deal with Warren and not exclusivley Khan - but who else does he have for a PPV event? Nobody of the top of my head. This has left both parties with egg on their face.
Thanks, i had to get it off my chest lol I felt like alot of people on these forums are relishing the fact that khan got ktfo, its a shame as hes a likeable guy! The truth of the matter is, its the hype we cant stand which is being spoon fed by the TV networks to the general public.
You may find him likeable (can't think why) but many don't, and with good reason. So don't state it as if it's a fact.
I didn't but the PPV, but I have watched the slaughter on youtube 314 times now. I burst out laughing until about the 293rd time...have only grinned at it since then.
can i ask what you actually mean when you say "with good reason" for all I've seen of khan is tv interviews, pre and post fight? I've heard of a couple of driving offences? !
