    The ONLY parallel?

What about Peter knocking Gilbert Martinez TF out in 3, whereas Kirk took 8 to score a TKO on cuts
... which Vitali fans don't even count as a legit TKO!

If all you need to do to compare fighters is look at common oppoonents then how about this: Kirk beat Ross Puritty, does that mean is Kirk better than Wlad?

True, forgot about Martinez. However, to be fair Kirk fought him as a confidence builder after being brutally getting KTFO by Vitaly.

Beside, my main point in response to Relentless was exactly what you said in your post. Nobody knows if Sam would have Ko'd Williams and Johnson, in the same fashion Vitaly did.

True. Nobody knows he wouldn't either.

All we know is that both Peter and Vitali failed whenever they stepped up to the elite.

You also forgot that Peter knocked Yanqui Diaz down 4 times on the way to stopping him in 5, whereas Kirk (yes, he also knocked him down a couple of times) won a technical decision due to an accidental headbutt.

That young Russian behemoth will pummel that rather portly African gentleman all over the ring, and mark my words gentlemen: Porter's fearful, and as soon as he becomes aquainted with the strapping Kosak's mighty right fist - that fear will be magnified tenfold.

No...that's like saying Sam Peter schooled Jameel McCline, no actually what you said is worse.

WLAD was not schooling Peter, he was doing what he needed to to survive in order to get the points decision.

You don't "Jab & Grab" and run your way to victory, and get the accolades that go with "schooling" someone.

You foolish KLIT-ites claiming Peter is scared should go back and watch the Peter-Toney press conferences, in which you would say with much more certainty that Sam was scared...tha't is if you think he's scared now.

We know when bell time came, there was no fear...I think a lot of it comes from Peter not having as good of a grasp of the English language as his opponents...there are voices speaking quickly coming from everywhere at these conferences, and Peter is just a little out of his element in them still.

Lewis also came back, and beat the crap out of Rahman.
Sometimes fighters get a lucky punch, aren't on top of there game/ are on top of there games, etc. Besides, of course you can't by who beat who, and in what fashion they did it in. Sometimes you could have a fighter whipe the division clean, and some guy with a beaten record (who lost to fighters that the champion beat easily) comes and scores the upset. That's boxing.

Peter has a chance but not a very good one. His hype was iron chin and ko power. Both were proven untrue. The iron chin is more like glass and he cannot deliver his power on a decient fighter. The upside is he is entertaining.

Klitchko is very inactive so much so that no one really knows what he has left. I say he has enough to dispatch Peter.

Peter has a glass chin? :patsch Wake the **** up, the guy was never KO'd or TKO'd in his whole career, went 12 hard rounds with Wlad and never touched the canvas, he even took Wlad's straight rights and shook his head, as to say they dont hurt. I think you need to watch more than one or two of his matches before coming up with that type of conclusion. If Sam Peter has a glass chin, whats that say about guys like Wlad, Rahman, and Harrison? There the fighters that have proven there chins to be glass, being knocked out multiple times, some of which by journymen (Wlad).

Peter's face will redifine the terms swollen and bloodied before he falls like a sack of rocks mid rounds.

Peter's Chin is now in the "questionable" category. Yes, he can take straight punches fine but hooks and uppercuts give him problems. If he gets knocked down mutiple times by Vitali we will have to officially question his Chin. I do not think it will ever be classified as a Glass Jaw but it certainly can and will be called 'shaky' if he is knocked down multiple times again.
