Hey I originally posted this topic in the lounge but I was told it is more appropriate for the training forum. Do any of you have punch counters on your mitts when you do a bag session ? I threw 2207 punches in a 12 round (3 min rounds) session and I wanted to compare with other people who train. The punches obviously sacraficed power and accuracy but they weren't slaps. how many have you thrown in a 12 round bag session ? or how many can you average for 4 rounds ?

i try to throw 200 punches per round for 3 rounds with a 30 second rest in between. i maintain a pace for about the first 150 and then when the 30 second bell rings i just throw continuous 1 2s til the end of the round, so it could be more than 200. sometimes i do the same thing but instead of 1 2s i throw a nonstop jab for 30 seconds.
