Dawson will beat Johnson convincingly next time. Dawson will only get better while Johnson showed that his performance is as good as it gets. Dawson said he was willing to give Johnson a rematch during the post fight conference, and if he gets by Tarver than a rematch is very possible. But there is more lucrative more matches out there for him, such as a possible fight with Calzaghe, and Dawson would like to get the WBC belt back from Diaconu.

Let's add to that list that Juan Urango beat up Hatton (in the process of losing the fight by 11 rounds to 1)!!!

I didn't even talk about chin. Watch it again. As the fight goes on, THysse gets better and DIaconu is about to spit his lungs.

Bute, at least made it look much easier. But of course, you will disagree. ANd probably insult me. I'M waiting for the "Diaconu hater" name calling (wich is totally untrue). When Diaconu fights a skilled fighter, he's gonna lose. I'm not hoping for it, i like the guy. But i hope you'll remember what i said when Diaconu gets beat badly.

Chad Dawson couldn't even beat old Glen Johnson, and he will have his hands full against Tarver too. If he can clearly beat Tarver, then he MIGHT have a chance beating Calzaghe too, but I wouldn't put my money on it.

Chad's style is not taylor made for Joe but so is not Kelly's. Ridiculous statement to say that Chad has an edge in power concerning Kelly, not even considering the 160-175 pound gap... Chad is a beautiful boxing specimen, a slick and flashy lefty, smart and methodical combination shooter, cool and cold-minded executioner but he would have problems with Joe's constant pressure, awkward non-stop punching style, non-stop and relentless attack from angles and willingness to trade...Chad would not go tit for tat with Joe and therefore, finishes second best in his approach towards this particular opponent.

Well, Henry has a chin, Dawson does not.

I agree, every skilled fighter will beat Diaconu, except if he has a doubtful chin. So, Tarver, Johnson, Hopkins, Calzaghe, name them, would of course beat Diaconu. That's not a shame. I like Adrian a lot. Even if he is only a top 20, I like him.

Hmm. I've been carefully reading every one of your posts in this thread. I've decided you are an idiot.

Interesting assessment Tito of my drunken, and humorous posts last night. Even I'm amazed at some of the **** I said. However to the thread topic......You really feel that Joe gets thoroughly crushed against Dawson? Sure I feel Dawson would win but it surely wouldnt be as easy as some are implying

Dawson have excellent skills, but sometimes he lacks of defense and can be frustrated easy. and his chin is not the best tohave those flaws.

thoroughly crushed? No not at all. I even feel Calzaghe wins. AT least, it would be competitive.
