its good to see a humble guzman fan here. hey he's good. a very good boxer. but some of his fans are much too advance celebrating for his cause. i predict him to win over campbell. i am also just one of the few that feel that he might have a chance to ko nate because of campbell's track record.

in order for him to do that, he must beat campbell, marquez and pacquiao in succession.

If he beats Campbell hes number 1, Marquez-Casa winner is no2, the winner of that match is number 1 and possibly P4P no1. **** Pacquaio if he doesnt want to fight the 135lb elite

it doesn't work that way. you cannot put guzman instantly coming from nowhere. and the 135 elite are either old and/or inconsistent. guzman and marquez would win of course.

This post is ridiculous,Guzman may not possess the same power he had at 122 but he hits harder than most give him credit for at 130/35. And for you to even question his elusiveness, reflexes just shows you have a degree of dislike for him because Guzman is the closest thing there is to Floyd Jr. If you want to believe that JMM,Pac,Diaz beats him that's cool I won't debate though I disagree but you can't be serious about Katsidis and Santa Cruz beating him Joan would make both of them look silly. Come saturday night when Joan Guzman takes overrated Campbell to school I'll be sure to bump anti-Guzman threads like this after the fight happens.

Agree 100% on the higlighted statement, and everything else you said was also right on target, and if I may add one more thing is that Guzman is not one to get caught with right hand counter punches like Pacquiao does so JMM best weapon will be nullified against someone as elusive as Guzman.

that was just a pure speculation. at the time of my message the vote is 25-5. does it mean that there are 25 pacfans here? does it not occur to both of you that maybe people just think that Juan Manuel Marquez is a better over-all and head-to-head fighter than Joan Guzman?

Unfortunately the poll is not public so it would be hard to prove the point. But I still stand by it.

i admit that i voted for JMM. i feel that he would have the advantage base on competition. but this certainly would not be an easy fight for him.

I'd favor JMM just for the fact that his punches are much crisper, sharper, and more precise than Guzman whose punch output sometimes are wild and mostly weak flurries. At the same time, he is more proven and more experienced.

I'd give Guzman a good chance because of his demonic athleticism and durable chin. Not to say he is very slick, which can be a problem for JMM at this point.

Big dreamer you are. Good fighter, but the P4P list are for great ones. Unless he can change quick, his time is ticking...he's not young anymore.

After Pacman, JMM will walk thru any of Guzman's 14.5 punches per round and either KO him or UD.

Yo....don't go comparing Joan to Floyd.....They are worlds apart in terms of overall abiliyt, skill and talent. Guzzy's style is slick, elusive and re-active....But Floyd is natrually these traits and he has perfected them.

Joan isnt as fast as floyd....heck...Joan isn't as fast as PAC. And the only thing you can compare Joan to Floyd would be a similar style...that's it bc Floyd is faster, more elusive, has better reflexes and power.

People are being caught up in the flash....but Joan has little substance when it comes to how he stacks up against the divisions ELITE. Don't get me wrong...Joan is one of the best in his division, but he's not THE BEST nor will he be. Watch this Satruday and the truth will be revealed. Joan is a very good technician in the ring but not the best. Nate is very good as well and on a similar level, but we'll see Nate has something extra that Joan doens't have.
