It was close and I had it dead level after 6 but Bernard definitely took over in the second stage of the bout. In my personal opinion, one of the most intelligent boxing displays of modern times by Bernard, quite simply a clear case of mind over matter.

Pretty simple in my mind. Many rounds were close, but Hopkins was clearly winning them.

    118-110, Hopkins.

7-5 Hopkins. A draw is the best I could see for Winky.

are you serious?....to me, neither of them dudes looked very impressive. it was clear to me b hop had lost a little something as well as winky. it's just that winky was fighting at a weight he had no business being at. i think if that fight happened at 160, winky takes it rather easily. but i definitely didn't watch that fight thinking b hop put on a masterful performance. it looked more to me like he just simply outlasted him.

lol he negated all of Winky´s strength and found a way to penetrate his defence. It´s hard to look good against Winky especially at 43 years of age but Hopkins did. It isn´t a classic but it surely was a masterful performance in tactics, skill and ring generalship.

i have wayched it a few tiomes.

original viewing i was rooting for wright and thought it was close but had hopkins winning close

watched it again dispassionatley a second time and as dorfmeister said , you can see that hopkins won the second half of the fight and did as he pleased and fought how he wanted to and controlled the fight.

    i think i had it 116-112 .

    I had it 6-5-1 Hopkins or 7-5.

Wasn't a great fight but it was not as bad as is being made out.

Hopkins at one point in the 12th round looked like he could score a TKO, so I had that round clearly for Hopkins.
