I agree, however there are a lot of other boxers who use them and don't get caught, and ones who use them and get caught and people try to make excuses for them.

Everyone in the bodybuilding industry knows kickboxers and boxers use steroids, it's the ones who know how to cycle off who don't get caught. (Not Vargas or Toney.)

 

Peter has KOed exactly one top 25 Heavyweight in his career. Vitali has an Iron Chin and Peter has not KOed a fighter even close to Vitali Klitschko. Peter could not even KO or beat Glass Jaw Wlad. Peter's power is WAY overrated.

 

Then what are you crying about all of the time, if that's how you feel...you are more angry that what...???....they don't know how to properly cycle off...???

 

Let's not forget awesome Maskaev was KO'd by COREY (NOT CORRIE) Sanders, Lance Whitaker, Kirk Johnson, David Tua and Oliver McCall.

I'm not angry about it, I just wish Toney would admit to using them for the reason he used them, instead of claiming a medical use which he could never provide evidence towards proof.

I workout/train around a lot of kickboxers and boxers in Hollywood, so I've talked it over with a few.

A trainer in our gym was arrested like a year and a half ago for distributing steroids at the gym. The FBI pulled up and walked in and arrested him right there in the gym. He's never been back. I hear he's still in jail over that.

 

Nobody denies they build muscle, but you deny they are used to speed recovery when injured...if you could get over this, perhaps you could be viewed as credible with your experiences...however, until you recognize what is a most elementary fact (use of steroids for injury), why should your further detailed comments be considered...logically speaking....???

 

So Vitali was also using steroids to help from an injury not to gain a competitive advantage correct? I mean James Toney was right?

I'm not up VITKLIT's ass about his usage...I haven't studied the circumstances, therefore I haven't stated what his motives in using were.

What is this natural boxing ability you speak of? Oh nub of all nubs.

They all learn. Either early or late, with varying results. Some learn quicker than others and some have natural attributes that help them learn. But in no way does any boxer come straight out of the womb with head movement, footwork and shoulder rolls. If you think so you are a dumbass.

 

Toney had a documented injury, but no documented proof of needing anabolic steroids to heal any sort of injury. Not only did he not provide proof, (TWICE), he didn't even try to fight his suspension.

Toney tested positive for the Stanozolol and Boldenone, but has always denied he knowingly took the drugs.

That does not look like someone taking a growth hormone to heal an injury.


Furthermore look at the uses of Stanozolol.

Stanozolol is commonly used by athletes and bodybuilders alike to lose fat while retaining lean body mass. It is usually used in a "cutting cycle", to help preserve lean body mass while metabolizing adipose, although it has not been proven conclusively that it has any special fat-burning properties.

It hasn't been proven to cut fat, but most people would argue that it does.

 

You realize Toney has been caught not once but TWICE! He also is more likely to test positive for steroids (22%) than score a KO (11%).

Those are real numbers. Why was Toney caught twice? Is he addicted?

 

Toney claimed twice that he was using steroids to heal an injury, all the while claiming he didn't know he was using them.

Obviously get caught once, fine, but twice, there is no way he didn't know he was using them.
