The main problem for Peter there was that he didn't see the punch coming, it just caught him unexpectedly and the punches you don't see coming are the ones that hurt the most. For a giant Wladimir is beyond impressive, the man knows how to fight.
With that said, Vitali will still probably be the fighter with the better reflexes and timing. Reflexes, Sam Peter looks like he is going to have the reflexes of a house if he don't get his weight real down soon. As for timing, Sam Peter absolutely has none, he throws wide ass punches that miss and many time hit opponents behind the head he is so far off.
You and Scar still think Sam's the man. Sam's gotten better ,but so has Wlad, who kicked his ass . Something's up, you both convenientely agree too much :huh C'mon, spill the beans, are you both administrators in disguise??
Peter is way out of his depth in this fight. His best weapon was the intimidation factor, that came to an abrupt end with the McCline fight. If thats not being exposed for someone who was thought to have a granite chin I dont know what is. Vitali saw that and knew he was tailor made for him. Its gonna be short, brutal and shocking, particularly for the Peter fans.
Scar and Suge, some posters will never give Samuel the credit he deserves, even if he blows out Vitali, they will just say he was shot. I'm done fighting with some of these posters, theres really no sense, guys like Rico and a few others will just see what they want to see, and be blinded by there hate of Peter and there love for Wlad. I hope Peter destroys Vitali, at least that way the belts wont be held by the "Breakable Brothers", the one has a glass chin, the other has a glass body, yet, nonone in this sorry has Heavyweight division could stop them.
Actually, we know how to disagree with each other like human beings, and can acknowlege points that we might not like. That's an attribute of someone who knows how to have a decent dialogue. It's a skill that many around here can stand to learn.:smoke
Guys like Rico just amke us look good, not that we care. Really, you can find who the sensible people are through continued dialogue...and I've found that just taking the time to educate somebody on something, even though it might not reach them, may help somebody else. Don't be discouraged by KLIT-ites, when VITKLIT doesn't pull it off many will grow tired of him.
We are cool, but we like and dislike different boxers...and it's not like we're blowing up each others PMs anyways... For instance, I am unimpressed by Povetkin...Scar likes him, I ask the guy to tell me what's good about him since he sees some things I don't. One of you guys would just tear Povetkin to sh*t if you thought he sucked. Learning nothing. I ...anyways Scar likes Wlad, I don't. It's not a problem between people who are fans of the sport, and not only certain fighters. Learning to see things from a different point of view is a valuable skill in the world, whether you wish to accept it as your own or not. If you can learn do it as a boxing fan, you can make some money betting.:yep
Sam actually did hold as Wladimir charged in with a jab and a right followed, then Wladimir kneeled on Peter after that as clear in the GIF provided by KobeIsGod. Even though Peter held he was fully pressured by Wladimir's entire body and still had his legs under him, meaning he wasn't THAT hurt but was hurt regardless.
What does that have to do with the discussion?, yes we might agree but we also discuss and share different opponents and views despite agreeing. It doesn't have to be agree/disagree to make a discussion. I never denied that Wladimir improved, as a long-time fan of his I came to see that happen fight after another.
That's the sad part, same thing was said before Peter met Toney the first time, MANY people were picking Toney to school him and when Peter wins it's a robbery and I can't really blame many here since it was close(I scored it for Peter). Then the rematch happens and almost EVERYONE picks Toney by schooling, especially when the weigh-in pictures were out and Toney was in far better shape than the first time, everyone was on his nuts, he loses one-sidedly and Peter gets no credit because Toney is beyond shot whilst completely ignoring the improvements Peter showed. If Peter wins against Vitali he won't get much credit either, the lay-off and injuries Vitali is coming out of will always be mentioned to try and discredit it, hell even if he beats Wladimir a long list of excuses will be out. Best is to try and discuss it with some and just ignore the clear haters.
