I say Roy has punchers change - which I dont mean disparagingly. BHop knocked him over, and Roy hits a lot harder.

What you fail to understand is that RJJ, even his diminished self, still has a greater skillset than a **** load of boxers out there !! His feet movement is night and day from the past, his speed has slowed a little and his reflexes are considerably reduced but the package is still impressive versus so many opponents...

Calzaghe is a great boxer with very good skills but is nevertheless fighting at 175 only for the 2nd time of his career with hands that were recently injured once again for the ___th time against one of the smartest fighters he ever faced besides B-Hop, a guy that still has more hand speed than anyone he ever faced before, more power than almost anyone he ever faced, a guy throwing accurate shots coming from all kinds of odd angles like he's never seen before !!

I just have a feeling that Calzaghe at this stage, is underestimating Jones like most fans and that RJJ will bring one last outstanding performance into the ring since he seems to have found his confidence back ! RJJ was the one seriously pushing for that fight from the get go..not Calzaghe !!

I would say that Tito is the most overrated fighter on ESB

He is WAAAAAAAAY past his prime and couldn't beat an egg to be quite honest, let alone a top class fighter

Hey - the man was great in his time, but I think he ought to call it a day

Mayorga has the best chance, out of the above options.

RJJ isn't totally shot, and in his prime he was a FAR better fighter than Joe. I give him a chance if he can keep moving and not stay on the ropes soaking up shots like he did against Glen.

    Jones by mid rounds stoppage

Calzaghe isn't as schooled or as skilled as a Roy Jones - at any stage of his career.

Jones has the power to hurt Calzaghe but Calzaghe's freshness will win it for him

Calzaghe is going to get KO'd by a bigger, more experienced (on a higher level) more schooled, and an overall better fighter. Roy wouldn't have took this fight if he didn't think he could win - I never heard of it ... he said he was willing to go to wales.

Roy Jones Jr was my favourite fighter 1993-2003 and is still one of my top 5 favourite ever fighters (and I proposed him as the closest thing to an 'Invincible' fighter today on this forum, as I think at 168 he was UNTOUCHABLE). I argued for him on the thread about who should be ranked higher pound-for-pound between him and Thomas Hearns. I argued for him in the thread about who would win between him and Marvin Hagler.

He truly was the Superman of this generation.

But the cold hard facts prove that Superman died FOUR YEARS ago.

And I am anything but a Calzaghe fan. In fact, I am generally perceived to be one of his biggest (sane) critics on ESB.

But if you keep on writing things like that, you are going to look very foolish after their fight.

Don't let your heart rule your head.

Roy Jones Jr cannot and will not win this fight. That's why I'm DREADING it, and that's why I cannot respect Joe Calzaghe's decision in taking this easy money fight.

If you disagree Fitzgeraldz, let's talk after the fight. Though I will be in mourning at the time.

    Calzaghe by stoppage.

    1.

2.ZERO chance. They are going opposite ways.

3.Definitely the best chance of the ten - in saying that, I still think he would lose convincingly.

4.Same as Trinidad, Morales, Tyson - he is over.

5.Very slim chance. Only if he got in shape and got a weak champion. That isn't going to happen.

6.ZERO chance of even beating Mosley.

7.I CANNOT BELIEVE people are giving this one a chance - the last time Tito looked good was 4 years ago against Mayorga. After watching the Wright & Jones fights, we should let the poor ******* retire. He was a great fighter, but he has absolutely NOTHING left to offer as a pro boxer.

    8.

9.Even though I think Wlad is a poor fighter - ZERO chance of beating either

    10.

I'd give Toney and De La Hoya very slim chances, the rest are just funny.

I would bet against all ten though.

Caldragon your experiment is yielding results - there are many people utterly divorced from reality on this forum. :admin
