I think the delay is that they are trying to get this fight on national TV. Steve has never fought on national tv in America which is sad. He is an exciting fighter and I think this fight will be the same and USS should WIN this one.
personally i think the dispute is over the split. Adamek probaly feels he deserves a bigger share as he is the name and the one who brings in the $$ but Cunningham probably wants more as he is the champ. just a guess though.
We know both fighters are capable of having off nights and inconsistent efforts. Adamek may have issues with technically gifted, crafty opponents like Dawson or Cunningham. Or his off night against Chad might have been due to his alleged former weight issues or the fact that he was deprived of his long time trainer, who was replaced by the cursed McGirt, whom Adamek could not understand due to language barriers. We don't really know at this point exactly why he lost so badly to Chad and I think the bout with Cunnigham will go a long way to answering that question. What we do know, is that so far he has looked great and actually more improved at a heavier weight class, at least against mediocre - solid opposition. Cunningham is capable of stinkers as well and if he had major trouble with the limited ,feather-fisted Wlodarczyk, he will be in a quagmire against Adamek. But I agree that comparing Cunningham to Bell is totally inappropriate for several obvious reasons (different styles and at different points in their careers). The outcome here will depend on who is able to establish their style of fight. Prediction: Adamek by a late round TKO.
I think Cunningham's speed is going to be too much for him in the later rds. Cunningham wins tko in the 10th rd.
