Sorry, but I disagree. Since Paulie had a gift against Ngoudjo, he doesn't diserve his title. So the winner won't be the number one at 140 pounds. We need belts, the system is far to be perfect, but at least it guarantees that promoters are no the only ones to decide. I'm tired of Roy Jones, Winky Wright, De la Hoya, and other shot boxers that were good but are only names nowadays. Ngoudjo diserves another shot, if Malignaggi doesn't want to give him, **** him. When he loses to Hatton, he will look like an idiot. As usual, but this time for another reason than his hair or his big mouth.

Ngoudjo will fight Urango for the vacant title by the end of the year since anyway he is the rightful owner of this belt...

    Didn't Ngoudjo already beat Malignaggi?

The time paulie got that gift decision while 3 judges from the New York area were scoring the fight? Yes Ngoudjo was mandatory but since the IBF realised the decision wasn't fair, they gave Ngoudjo another shot at an eliminator agaisnt M'Baye who he beated despite having a badly swollen eye from the second round to the end of the fight....

It's IBF's loss if they don't want to give their belt to Hatton if he wins. A Hatton win only makes their champ even more obscure and their title more insignificant. I guess the notion of unifying with the IBO is revolting to them...lol.

Does the IBF only have N'dou and Ngoudjo as their mandatories? I mean its been one after another with repeated number 1 shots and Maglinaggi has beat them both let someone else get a shot these guys got theirs and lost. Its time to move on and let another fighter step up to the plate. Let me guess N'dou is the next mandatory after Maglinaggi beats Ngoudjo again, the IBF is a joke period.

It happens, however, I don't think the IBF minds taking a % of the Hatton money over enforcing a fight against Ngoudjo. Also, I dont think that the IBF will make him fight a mandatory for his NEXT fight, if he beats hatton so long as Malignaggi keeps fighting big names.

    A lot of people.

Paulie is not a creditable opponent if he does not hold a belt. At least if Ricky got the belt off of him he could have stated he was a champion again.

His purse should be slashed as he is now bringing nothing to the table. He's had 1 fight against a world class oponent, lost it badly, fought low level opposition since and has not won convincingly.

People are deluding themselves if they think this is a creditable fight and are trying to justify their Vegas trips when they are seeing a worst fight card than they got to see in Manchester in May.
