tim bradley is going to dominate 140

His athleticism is well above average.
His defense is well above average (though he has his cocky moments).
His punching technique is well above average.

Some discipline and some experience, there is absolutely no reason he can't be not only elite but a division ruler.

Why do you feel differently?

 

I hope so Bradley is good for Boxing and a good guy.

I dont think its safe to say that yet, we are talking about Cherry here, who has already shown you five ways to beat him, and he hasnt had but one or two fights at that weight class, so its hard to say, if anything last nights fight showed that Bradley can box no doubt we knew that, but what happens when he is in there with a live world class fighter?
There are still many questions and no I do not think he will dominate 140 he wil have a nice run at that weight class but he wont dominate, Hatton is still there and I think Hattons style might be the ticket to beating Bradley lets not also forget that Paulie who is just as crafty is there, and I think those two guys beat Bradley.

 

People slagged Junior Witter off even more for getting beat by a unproven opponent but i saw quality from Timothy Bradley when he won that fight.He has the attributes to be at least one of the best at 140 if not the best.

 

Didn't see the Cherry fight yet,will watch it in a couple of days,how did Bradley look?

 

You know, it's probably not unreasonable to suggest that Bradley still has some things to accomplish before he can righteously be called 'elite' and such. But I like his chances.

Today, this minute, the 'Desert Storm' cleans house on Torres and Holdt and has a good chance to beat Paulie and Hatton (40-50%).

...in the time it takes Hatton to get by Malignaggi (assuming he does so), rest and get fat, make the fight w/Bradely and then train and get back down to 140 ,

. In one or two yrs, if he doesnt' get cocky and thus sloppy in his training and habits he should be able to dominate the division.

Except possibly for Ortiz who also looks to be a great prospect and may also enjoy a steep upward development curve in the next year or two...

 

it's nice to see the 140 division get some more shine as 135 and 147 are the more talked about + stacked divisions

but with Holt, Malignaggi and Bradley all title holders it seems like this division's been re-sparked interest wise, at least IMO

Cherry's a natural lightweight. amazed me as bscene blowing up right now with a 7 page topic pretty much the same praises toward Bradley.

yes he's a talented young fighter, but can we wait till he does something a bit more noteworthy in his career? (besides beat Witter)

im very interested to see who Bradley tries to go for next.

 

It's not like Junior Witter is desperately trying to get a rematch,he knows what all reasonable minded fans know and that is he can't beat Bradley.

bradley would beat hatton right now

hatton had some serious issues with juan lazcano, who is as mediocre as edner cherry... if you actually watched the fight, you will know bradley completelely dominated cherry both physically and psychologically... he has quicker hands than hatton, seemingly endless stamina, a tougher chin at this point as far as i can tell (he took cherry's flush punches a lot lot better than hatton took lazcano's flush punches)

i don't see anyone at 140 who can beat bradley right now and that includes vicious victor ortiz, el mochuelo, rated r, and certainly not hatton, witter, or kotelnik

plus don't forget Devon Alexander, 21 years old and 15-0. who's also
in the 140 division.

he's rated #1 by the WBC, but for some odd reason has been very inactive this year.
