Ive been getting the notion that people are thinking this is some easy money in the bank win... whatever... hatton is undefeated, he just did something that even if mayweather fought castillo TODAY... he STILL would NOT stop him, he is in his prime, a champion, and what some of you guys seem to not understand, is the best opponent besides oscar that mayweather has faced in like... 4 years. I have always said, that Mayweather, Hatton and Cotto need to fight eachother, they are todays top crop stars.... all undefeated, all champions (cotto was one) and all were at the same weight, and now are around the same weight. This fight is HUGE... dont listen to anyone who says otherwise. GO HATTON!!! and big props to mayweather
alrighty we will see :good dont tell you i didnt tell you when hatton puts mayweather through a castillo type fight. and even if your right... even if he gets whitewashed, its still important for this era and BOTH of their legacys for that to be ACTUALLY established, and not just talked about years from now as some mythical matchup between the two undefeated, star champions.
The only thing PBF deserves is a MAJOR ASS-KICKING! Whether or not Hatton is the one to do it, I don't know. Mayweather gives me the same feelings of hatred that Ali & SRL used to...because they just don't lose. But his day will come. Ali had his Frazier & SRL had his Duran. Who's it gonna be that forever attaches their name with PBF's???
I doubt it. Why is Mosely so indestrucable? Look what Vernon Forrest did to him. And he's alot older now. So what if he put a football size lump on Vargas' head. That guy blows!
hey digiram, thanks for the props you know, at first i didnt like it because i liked mayorga so much... and honestly, i think he has more left at this point then vargas, but now? hey... what the hell, its vargas's last fight, i just hope that vargas can win in impressive fashion. and hopefully, vargas says hes got some backstage passes for me, im not counting on anything but if its true then im completely beside myself in excitement.
yeah PBF is not getting his due for taking this fight...instead the excuses have already started, "Hatton is too small" "Hatton isn't a welter" and **** like that...PBF is going to bust Hatton up, but it might be a harder fight than we expect...
This is the fight everyone has been clamoring for since Hatton destroyed Tszyu. Its only because Cotto has looked more spectacular in his past few bouts that this bout it being criticized. Boxing fans are fickle. They have over 80 wins combined without a loss, which will set a record, and both of them have titled in multiple weight classes. How can anyone not like this bout. Cotto is yet to have an elite fighter on his resume, and Hatton has one, no matter what your opinion of the Tszyu bout is. Mosley on the other hand has been playing cat and mouse with Floyd for a while now. Ever since beating DLH, both Shane and Oscar have been Floyd's biggest targets, but when given the opportunity, Shane said no. Now Floyd is saying no. Its just the way it works. Let Shane and Cotto do their thing and then the winners are going to fight each other, mark my word. This is unfinished business for Floyd, for he wanted the Hatton bout a while back, but team Hatton refused the bout on several occassions, basically locking Floyd out of the linear title in his fourth weight class. Now, its payback.
Floyd already get more than enough credit its just a few hatters out there that like to bash em on everything.
