Yes, me. Tarver was much more impressive against Woods than Dawson was against Johnson. I realize that Johnson is a tougher opponent than Woods, but I wasn't impressed at all with Dawson that night. I think we may have all been overrating him a bit because he's the new guy. If Tarver comes to the ring in good shape and with the correct mentality, I can see Tarver doing it.
It's a hard fight to pick. Tarver is old but in his chin is good. He can still counter well and has a pretty solid defense.
I HOPE Tarver cleans his ****ing clock, but im not sure. I wouldnt bet my vcash on it. I loaded it all up on Vitali to spark Sam Peter anyway
I think the Woods fight was an illusion. Tarver was better but Woods was horrible, and Tarver still looked sluggish whenever Clinton did bother to throw a punch or two. Dawson's workrate and combos should carry the day, and I think it's more likely that he'll stop Tarver rather than the reverse. That said, no one would be shocked if Dawson got stopped, either. He's been badly hurt against his two most recent 'A' opponents and has been down against all three guys he faced who were Ring top-10 (including Harding).
