LIGHT MIDDLEWEIGHTS: 1. Terry Norris 2. Thomas Hearns 3. Mike McCallum 4. Winky Wright 5. Oscar de la Hoya 6. Julian Jackson 7. Fernando Vargas 8. Felix Trinidad 9. Laurent Boudouani 10. Javier Castillejo 11. Wilfredo Benitez 12. Julio Cesar Vasquez 13. Koichi Wajima
I just made a thread about the greatest boxers in every weight class and at 154 i put Winky though it is still up for debate. I'm leaning towards Mike Mccallum
At least: Thomas Hearns Mike McCallum Winky Wright Julian Jackson Felix Trinidad Wilfred Benitez With guys like Vargas and Vasquez as possibilities. I don't think Oscar matches up well with Norris.
Vargas beat Winky that fight was not a robbery by any means I don't get why people think that it is,Vargas took the early rounds and middle rounds people just think he might've lost because he was tiring in the 9th round. But Vargas won that fight fair and square.
Vargas was getting his ass handed to him in that fight. Regardless, getting knocked out by Tito, Oscar, and Shane is not an achievement like the other poster suggested.
