    This has become such a farce that Haye should just try and get a fight with Wlad in early 2009 if he beats Povetkin. Haye can't even handpick a Heavyweight the correct way his Chin is going to get shattered at Heavyweight. :lol: :rofl :patsch

    There are several veteran HWs that would be eager to fight Haye, I wish he'd fight one. But Haye seems understandably reluctant to fight anyone that poses a threat. It's becoming obvious that his whole motive is to take the shortest and easiest road possible toward a fight with Wlad. Win or lose, at least he'll get paid, right?

    I am wondering who is actually doing the backing out.

    If you read Kevin Johnson's comments about Haye it sounds like its Haye is the one doing the backing out.

    And Johnson said he was giving up the lion's share of the purse. Lost in all of this talk is the money that Haye's promoters are offering. It sounds like they are trying to downgrade the risk by low-balling these deals.

    If someone is going to take a team of four or five people (and sometimes more than that) and pay travel and lodging expenses out of measly purse you aren't going to get takers.

    I don't know if he is a joke at HW or not. But I do contend that it is ridiculous to think that he deserves a title shot without fight 1 single contender at HW. Holyfield had to work his way through the ranks when he moved up. I don't know what makes Haye think he's so damn special when he hasn't proven anything.

    actually I think Haye needs a "name" to fight and win big for Wlad to consider him. Wlad is looking to Unify....If Haye doesnt perform well, Wlad will skip him. It wont benefit Wlad in any way. Wlad will look to fight Valuev after povetkin. That will be the priority. NOT HAYE
