What is Cotto's greatest liability is it the Chin, stamina, toughness?

I recently rewatched the Margo vs Cotto fight and came to the conclusion that Cotto "PROBABLY" doesnt have a bad chin. He was hit with some good shots throughout the fight before going under.

What is Cottos #1 weakness or what will be his undoing:

the Chin, the stamina, or mental toughness over the long haul?

I thinks its his stamina. He faded against Mosely and Margarito. He was running in the later rounds in both fights.

Metal toughness. He cant take what he dish out. i actually thought he was winning before he took the two knees.

I think it's funny how Cotto isn't tough because he took a knee when he realized he was gonna get KTFO. If he wasn't tough he wouldn't of fought Judah with a friggin hole in his lip or he wouldn't of battled Shane Mosley when Mosley made his big 2nd half storm in their fight.

It's his stamina...and his recent decision to suddenly go away from his body attack.

Cotto's a though S.O.B. and hes glass chin issues where put it to rest in the Judah's, Mosley and Margaritos fights, so i think hes weakness is for now the stamina.

maybe he's not doing the cardios like he is supoosed to.

  8. Easy to hit, Poor defense, he's short, and will 95% of the time be at a reach dis-advantage, and stamina he ran from Mosley the last 2 rounds of that fight, for his sake i hope he dosen't rematch Margo or he will be beat uglier, and KO'D sooner this time...
I find it funny how people thought this over-rated fighter (Cotto) would have beaten Floyd Mayweather "laughs"

well i dont think hes overrated hes a very talented fighter and he was at the top of the division by his own merits. probably they have said this a million times but its true styles make fights and i gave Cotto a better chance of beating Mayweather than Margarito but is easy to say your are the best in the world or worst the Greatest Of All Time when you retires without fighting the best fighters (Cotto, Margarito, Williams)

Punch resistance and stamina. His chin isn't as bad as people have accused him, but it's not so great either, absolutely a liability. Cotto doesn't seem so keen on body punches either. Margarito was folding him like an accordion right off the bat on single shots to the body. Cotto also tries to throw every punch with almost full power, this has alot to do with his stamina problems..

Personally, I think the Margarito loss is going to improve him as a fighter. That's what I expect.

i don't think its his stamina, he has no defense for the body attack. That led to the drop in stamina in both Mosely and for sure in the Margarito fight.

His only loss was from not having a good enough game plan... he showed in the first half of the fight he can be on top vs Marg - he let slip, copped too many solid hits and went down from there. He tired himself on one of the toughest SOB's to enter the ring... next time he needs to pace himself more and not worry about stopping his opponent so much.

I dont think you can watch his last few fights and honestly say his chin was an issue. Against Marg and to a lesser extent Mosely; his legs were going out.

I dont think he considered how much he would have to get on his bike against Marg and that ultimately cost him the fight. I give all the credit in the world to Tony, but those first 6 rounds were a clinic from Cotto. He just didnt have the stamina to see it through.

Hopefully he bounces back and continues on with a great career. I think at the very least he found the blueprint to beating the bigger guys in the division after so often walking through smaller opponents.

His defence. He always gets hit with right hands and uppercuts.
