thats an inteligent response. there is an old time honored tradition in england that go's go **** yourself twat. thats unless youy have something inteligent to say!!!!!!!!!!
He's mentioned wanting to fight Pavlik countless times over the last few years - if it's not a fight that interests or motivates him - why do that. Only the most blind of fans would deny that Joe hasn't sidestepped a Pavlik fight (for whatever reason), and that he has contradicted himself somewhat in fighting the walking definiiton of shot instead.
Mr. Bean doesn't say much and he's pretty funny, whereas, you on the other hand, say an awful lot, but are not remotely funny at all. :good
Follow the time line of statements and events. It's been posted in this forum many times. Joe ducked the guy he spent 7 or 8 months calling out.
calzaghe isn't stupid and a lot of what he says in interviews is more a reflection on the international perception of him holing up in wales all these years. he enjoys taking a swipe at the public perception of him and this is how he does it.
Wow, sounds like the same excuses Mayweather fans make about why Floyd won't fight the guys the fans want him to. But in all fairness to Slappy, he did fight both Lacy and Kessler who were the to guys that everybody demanded he fight and he did unify the SMW titles so he does deserve more respect than a lot of people give him.
US boxing is not what is was, there is a reason why old timers like Hopkins/Jones/Tarver/Toney are still the biggest names.
Yeah so he hid and waited years and years til' Roy was done and now will come and take advantage of that circumstance. Real tough guy. :gayfight
Well, 160 not taking a fight at 168 is not considered ducking UNLESS 160 called out 168. So no, Pavlik did not duck Cal. But after Cal kept running his mouth about fighting a smaller man, Kelly basically said, "Put up or shut up". Joe has done neither.
Joe doesn't wanna pass the torch the way his predecessor Chris Eubank did. That's really all that matters. He knows the odds would be stacked against him. Unlike Eubank, he lacks the fortitude to do what is right. US boxing overrated.. :rofl WTF is UK boxing then?
Thats weird - he lost in my opinion to Hopkins... And has that and one other high quality win (Kessler)... Lets see him fight Pavlik, then he can talk all the **** he wants....
If he whupped Pavlik, most on here would say that Pavlik was overrated. We've seen it all before....remember?
I find this hard to believe( consider the source) but if unbeaten European superstar Calzaghe beats all-time great RJJ and new wonder-kid on the block Kelly Pavlik beats the legendary Bernard Hopkins imagine the interest from the general public in a Pavlik/Calzaghe showdown. Its just more $$$$ for all involved
