Not a bad list, but i'd prefer danny williams to maskaev anyday. maskaev looked like a corpse vs peter and you know williams woudl be motivated for a haye fight and he at least is dangerous with some real power and a chin. I'm not totally sold on Johnson but i do think he is at least a worthy opponent and I'm sure he's not able to demand too much money. Chapman and Mercer are joke fights at this point.

 

Haye has never showed any intrest to fight against Mercer.

yup. i was just saying i'd prefer him to maskaev of today. wiliams has put in some bad performances yes, but most times he's at least tough, game, and has power and a chin. the same cannot be said, i don't think, about this version of maskaev.

 

My post seems to be just about the only rational opinion on the matter. Seeing ******ed comments by ******ed (mostly) American schoolboys was the reason I hardly ever even read the main forum, let alone post on it.

 

How can the best Heavyweight in the World roll his shoulders alongside the ropes and fight on the back foot against someone like Jermell Barnes? Audley is more useful a challenge than Johnson (20-0-1, 7 KOs)... Kingpin should just sell his ass on the street manwhore style to make some doe.

I think Chapman was offered 140 grand. Dollars that is. I dont know if that is a lot or a little for a fight like this, but if one of these guys think they can win then they would take it.
