Felix Trinidad on De la Hoya-Pacquiao: This fight shouldn´t take place. There is too much weight and size difference. Boxing´s credibility is at stake here.

anyone else suprised at tito making this comment?!

Trinidad's not exactly the same size as Roy, and wants to fight DLH at a weight way above where DLH usually fights.

Titos got a point. He challenged himself in his last fight by fighting a former Heavyweight Champion. DLH on the other hand keeps fighting Lightweights and Featherweights.

Well, Tito fought a former SFW in De La Hoya and Camacho and a former LW in Whitaker, so he knows what is he talking about...

He's still trying to play it off as otherwise. Talking about how he's fighting Pacquiao "because he challenged me and I want to avenge the losses of the Mexicans".

He even claimed he forgot about how much money he was making.

Who doesnt think he's doing it for money? A professional boxer fights for money...why is this a surprise to anyone?

Difference is, some fight for money where there is no risk of loosing involved, Pac is fighting a guy for money with very high risk of loosing. If Pac chose to fight JMM tommorow instead of guzman cos JMM brings more money...is that any worse since he chose him for the money? No. The important thing is that we will see him challenged.

Now if Pac was fighting Amir Khan for money then id be pissed off. Or fighting Fana, money or no money id still be pissed off. He's not challenging himself....bottomline, as long as he is challenging himself in the process, I dont care how much money he makes.

Because of who he's fighting. Larry Merchant was talking about this when DLH fought Hopkins. He said "people want a reason why Oscar is fighting Hopkins. He has about 30 million reasons to fight Hopkins".

But it was a huge risk with Hopkins being the bigger, stronger, and ultimately better fighter.

Pacquiao is doing it for the payday, but he's the one taking the bulk of the risk, not DLH.

You asked a question and I answered it. Dont get your panties in a twist.

According to some, Pac has 0% chance of winning the fight....therefore people give ODLH stick for it because he is risking nothing. This is equivalent to Pac fighting Amir Khan for money in UK, lots of cash, 0% chance of loosing.

Pac on the other hand, people condemning this fight(including pacfans) say his health/life is at serious risk...their almost certain he will loose. Pac has alot to loose and alot to gain. the money is just part of it...ODLH is a tougher challenge than JMM or Nate or guzman. Pac in most peoples eyes is not a tougher challenge than Margarito.

    So there's your answer...again.
