Like the rest of the stupid posters here at ESB you're reading something that isn't there.

that might put hatton in th top 5 or 6.If you want to then be p4p number 1 step up and beat margarito but you don't think you can do that do you Ricky.

The only way that I think he will be considered P4P top 3 is if he drops another 5 pounds and starts doing some damage there. 140 just isn't competitive enough atm

Why would 5ft 7 Hatton fight a near 6ft Margo, it's like asking Margo to fight Kessler to prove himself.

I can't see Hatton getting the no1 spot though any other way unless he made 135 which looks impossible for him - especially at his age.

Its an absolutely ludicrous statement. For a man of the people he talks some BS.
A lot of his fans will believe it too(i think many, not all, Hatton fans arent actual Boxing fans, but they like him to be one of the guys)

If Hatton cant get anywhere near the p4p top 3 without clearing his own division and the one above it then why is Pavlik being mentioned there after only fighting Taylor at middle once and Lockett? I personally dont think Ricky is in the top 3 but if he were to defeat paulie, manny and oscar, be it at 140 or c/weight then he should be in there ahead of people who dont even bother clearing out their own division before they jump about

Quoted by the Manchester Evening News, Hatton also stated in regards to wanting to fight Oscar De La Hoya or Manny Pacquiao: "If Pacquiao wins we could make the fight at light-welterweight, but if Oscar wins, I would have no fears about moving up to welterweight."

Hatton is probably barely 5'6" but he says he has no fears going up to 147 so let's get Hatton Margarito on if Ricky wants to prove he is the best fighter in the world.

    Margo would kill him.

Pacmans moving up to 147 to fight Oscar as well (he too has no fears of fighting oscar at the weight), perhaps Pac should fight Margo to prove he is the best fighter in the world - do you think this as well? That would be ludicrous.

At the end of the day, it's too early for this type of talk from Hatton. If he beats pauli convincingly, and then Pacman he will then be in a better position to comment... and take fights to push him on from there...

Pac has no business fighting at 147. Him facing Oscar(154lber) or Margo is a joke. He spent most of his recent career fighting at 130lbs and is basically jumping up another 17lbs to face someone who is a better boxer and better defensively plus has all the physical advantages.

I'm seriously hoping that Oscar gets injured and can't fight because I really don't want to see Pac decapitated when so many great fights at 135 can be made and his legacy cemented.

Hatton, on the other hand, has fought at 147 before so I have less sympathy for him. If he's after greatness like he states then he won't be finding it at 140 and will have to go to 147 to make his mark.
