He doesn't promote McAlister and the only WBU champ In his stable Is Michael Jennings.

All his title fights recently were either WBC, WBA or WBO fights.

Derry's promoted by glass jaw Haye now.

he didi have skill, a top amature background proves that

Too many british fighters learn from their mistakes in the ring instead of the gym. Khans got great skills and speed but his defense and chin are shocking, he should have gone to the states with rubio and sparred with higher quality partners who can hit and learned to defend the hard way. Getting put on his arse by them for a few weeks would have sharpened his defense.

This is just a publicity stunt, nothing more. Khan will come back and beat half a dozen bums and lose again next time he steps up, then the trainer will change again and the same thing will happen again and he'll be retired before he's 25 so he doesn't become cannon fodder.

The sad thing is he'll retire a lot richer than a lot of legitimate fighters...

Yeah that Calslappy article was ridiculous. He wouldn't fight Jones when he was at his best, wouldn't fight him a year ago because he was shot, and all of a sudden he's fighting him and Jones has become the first fighter ever to recover from being shot :nut :nut

totally agree frank warren will put khan in with a couple of second rate fighters to generate interest and the min he steps up he,l be ktfo, he hasnt got the chin or the boxing brain to fight at the top level...

I doubt Warren will be promoting Khan for much longer either, I suspect the current deal will run out and that'll be it. Apparently Warren now has options on Prescott, he obviously learnt something in his time with Don King :rofl

Yup. That's exactly what'll happen. As soon as Khan fights any fighter who punch even a little, he'll end up out cold again. And, as you say, he will continue to make a good deal of money defrauding the public by fighting feather-fisted nonentities prior to that. The whole thing is rather repulsive, frankly.

Isn't Khans father the one who calls the shots?
Wasn't it Mr Khan who was putting pressure on Warren for more money and wanting the PPV?

If true the Amir should sack his old man, whatever we may think about Warren he has been around too long to blow away Khan so quickly.

Maybe it's the both of 'em but I'm tipping is the worst thing in Amirs career now is not his chin but the crap whispering in his ears.
