I know this news came out a while ago but i dont know if its been discussed. Apart from this being a pretty decent fight, this is a damn big purse! Alot of money to be made in Germany apparantly. No wonder Haye wants to go straight for Wlad.

A lot of money for both Klitschkos ! That's why Sam Peter and the Don King crew accepted right away to head to Germany for their fight !

After Vitali wins...I'm sure most fights for the Klitschkos in 2009 will take place in Germany !

Yeah there were a few threads on the topic. And I was amazed as well: $13M is a HUGE amount of money, especially for a purse bid. Really, really big, I wonder if there ever was a bigger purse in the history of German boxing...

Wlad has stated that he plans to continue alternating fights between Europe and the US, and he has been consistent about that.

Once Wlad got the TV date from HBO and RTL (German TV) he tried to book MSG (booked) then the Staple Center in LA (booked) so he took it back to Europe.
You are right! Wlad tries to fight in both countries

Vitali was bigger in the U.S. His fights drew pretty well over here.

since he is only paying 25% to Povetkin and gets to keep all the promo cash himself i can see him making a massive pile off this one. i can see K2 winning every klit bid from now on

It's also a very good paycheck guaranteed for Povetkin, a man with only 16 Professional fights behind his belt...

I just hope The Ring magazine stops ****ing with their ratings at Heavy and make Wlad their official champ if he beats Povetkin and Vitali takes care of Fat Albert...sorry I meant Sam Peter !!
